Overview

We are writing to let you know that we have relocated the Mobile Outreach Post Office services for Yeoford, Burrington, Ashreighney and Morchard Bishop, which will operate from inside the premises at the same locations.

The Cheriton Bishop Postmaster operated these Post Office services, which ceased operating on Thursday 7 March 2019. The Mobile Outreach services at Chittlehamholt and Umberleigh also ceased on Thursday 7 March 2019.

We are pleased to inform you, however, that the Postmaster from Chudleigh Post Office will offer services to Yeoford, Burrington, Ashreighney and Morchard Bishop, with the introduction of a permanent Hosted Outreach service. This new service commenced on Friday 8 March 2019.

Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local communities in the longer term. The relocation of the above Post Office services will enable us to maintain Post Office services to our customers in the local community.

To accommodate these new services, we have made some minor changes to the current opening hours of the Hosted Outreach services offered at the new premises. We constantly monitor the number of customers using Post Office services and we are confident that our changes will be welcomed by our customers in the local communities.
