Overview

We recently communicated that our retail partner, TGJones Ltd, had resigned from operating the above branch and it is scheduled to close on Saturday 11 July 2026.

We are now pleased to inform you that a new operator has been appointed, who has identified an alternative location to operate Stirling Post Office. This will be in a new location: Saras Stationery and Gifts, 15 Dumbarton Road, Stirling, FK8 2LQ, where it will continue to operate as one of our main style branches. The new premises, which is currently empty, would undergo a full refurbishment to incorporate a stationery and gifts store with Stirling Post Office. Our priority is to safeguard our services in the locality in the longer term and the relocation of Stirling Post Office will enable us to maintain a Post Office service to our customers in the local community.

The current Post Office branch is scheduled to close on Saturday 11 July 2026 at 17:30 and the new Post Office service is scheduled to open at the new premises on Tuesday 18 August 2026 at 13:00.

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services from three serving positions in total: two screened and a Post Office serving point at the retail counter. Working with the postmaster, we’d adapt the current store layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office till if needed.
