Post Office launches new Principles of Community Engagement
Overview
The Post Office is pleased to announce the launch of our new Principles of Community Engagement on changes to the Post Office network. These have been agreed with Citizens Advice, Citizens Advice Scotland and the General Consumer Council for Northern Ireland - the independent statutory consumer watchdogs.
We are committed to supporting our customers and their representatives when changes happen to their local Post Office. The Principles explain how and when we will tell you about any changes and when we will ask for your feedback.
These Principles will apply to all changes to the Post Office network from Monday 2 July 2018. They will replace the existing Code of Practice on Public Consultation and Communication with respect to change in the Post Office network.
