Overview

Our postmaster has been planning the relocation of their business for some time and as a result we are also moving the Appleton Wiske Post Office branch to the same new location: a new self-contained unit which will be located in the Village Hall Grounds, Front Street, Appleton Wiske, Northallerton, DL6 2AB, where it will continue to operate as one of our local style branches.

The Post Office branch is scheduled to close at its current location and reopen at the new site within the next couple of months. Once the date of the move has been finalised, update posters will be displayed to let customers know. 

Your new Post Office branch

Customers will access Post Office services at a low-screened, open-plan, modern serving point that’s part of the retail counter. Working with the postmaster, we will adapt the current store layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office till if needed.

Why your views matter
