Overview

We are re-opening the above Post Office branch at a new location – Spar, 76 Woodfield Avenue, Birchwood, Lincoln, LN6 0LP where it will operate as one of our local style branches.

Why are we moving?

The previous operator resigned and closed the Woodfield Avenue Post Office on 8 January 2020. We had therefore to identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community.

Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local community in the longer term. We have been successful in the appointment of a new Operator to continue to operate a Post Office service. This will provide us with the opportunity to incorporate a Post Office service into their convenience store. The new branch is scheduled to open at the new premises on Monday 23 March 2020 at 13:00.

During transfer of the branch customers requiring Post Office facilities may use any convenient Post Office service. Details of alternative Post Office branches are provided below for your convenience:
