Overview

We are planning move the above Post Office branch to a new location – Usk Library and Community Hub, 35 Maryport Street, Usk, NP15 1AE. 

 Why are we moving?

The current postmaster has resigned and the current branch will close on Thursday 25 April 2019. I am therefore pleased to inform you that a new operator has been appointed, providing us with the opportunity to incorporate Post Office services into Usk Library and Community Hub. To prevent loss of service, the new branch is due to open on Wednesday 1 May 2019 at 13:00, however it will not affect the local public consultation, which is ongoing until Friday 10 May 2019.

 Your new Post Office branch

 Customers would access Post Office services at a low-screened, open-plan, modern serving point that’s part of the retail counter. Working with the postmaster, we’d adapt the layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office till if needed. The branch will offer a wide range of Post Office products and services.
