Important information about Upwell Mobile Post Office service. 

We are delighted to let you know that we will be restoring a Post Office service to the community in Stoke Ferry. The branch closed temporarily in March 2019 following the resignation of the Postmaster and the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use.

Unfortunately, following our plans to reinstate the Post Office service at Whittington Garage, Whittington, Kings Lynn, PE33 9TF, did not open as previously advised. The new agent has decided not to progress to operate the Post Office service. Please accept our sincere apologies for any inconvenience caused. 

We have been working hard to identify a solution to restore a service locally and we are pleased to be able to reinstate a temporary Mobile Post Office service whilst we continue to seek a permanent solution.

We are pleased to inform to you that the Postmaster from Upwell Post Office who currently operates a Mobile service in the area will be extending the Mobile service in Stoke Ferry and this is planned to commence from Tuesday 11 May 2021.

To accommodate the new Post Office service in Stoke Ferry, we have made some minor changes to the current opening hours of the Mobile services at Southery and Wereham and these changes will also take effect from Tuesday 11 May 2021.
