We are moving the above Post Office branch to a new location: Unit 5, Newbiggin Hall Shopping Centre, Newcastle upon Tyne, NE5 4BR.

Why are we moving?

Unfortunately the Post Office premises will no longer be available for Post Office use and is scheduled to close on Tuesday 28 April 2020 at 19:00.

I am pleased to advise that we have identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community. The new branch is scheduled to open on Saturday 02 May 2020 at 08:00. Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local community in the longer term and the relocation of Trevelyan Drive Post Office will enable us to maintain a Post Office service to our customers in the local community.

During transfer of the branch customers requiring Post Office facilities may use any convenient Post Office service. Details of an alternative Post Office branch are provided below for your convenience:

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services at a low-screened, open-plan, modern serving point that’s part of the retail counter. Working with the postmaster, we’d adapt the current store layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office till if needed. The branch will offer the same range of Post Office products and services. Customer satisfaction with local style branches stands at 96 per cent, and nearly 20 per cent of local branch customers visit outside traditional opening hours.
