We are proposing to move the above Post Office branch to a new location: Premier – Stonebroom Store, 21-23 Wesley Road, Stonebroom, Alfreton, DE55 6JA

Why are we moving?

As you may be aware, our postmasters operate Post Office branches alongside their private retail business, and it is important that they make the very best use of their resources to ensure future sustainability of both their business and the Post Office service.  In this case, the Postmaster has identified an opportunity to move this branch into their other convenience store. Our postmaster firmly believes that the move will help secure continued access to Post Office services locally, as well as supporting the viability of their business.

Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local community in the longer term. The relocation of Stonebroom Post Office would enable us to maintain a Post Office service to our customers in the local community.

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services in a newly refurbished modern, open-plan environment alongside the operator’s retail. It would be in a dedicated area of the store with an open-planned position. The same range of Post Office products and services would be available over longer opening hours, so customers can access their Post Office when it’s convenient.
