Overview

We are proposing to move the above Post Office branch to a new location - Spar Wessex Retail, St Keverne Stores, The Square, St. Keverne, Helston, TR12 6NA, where it will operate as one our local style branches.   

Why are we moving?

As you may be aware, this branch has been operated on our behalf by a temporary Postmaster. We have therefore had to identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community. We are pleased to inform you that a new agent has been appointed and will operate the Post Office service from the new premises.

Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local community in the longer term. The relocation of St Keverne Post Office will enable us to maintain a Post Office service to our customers within the local community.

We are pleased to confirm the outreach services will continue to be operated by the existing Postmaster.

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services at an open-plan, modern serving point that’s part of the retail counter. Working with the postmaster, we’d adapt the current store layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office till if needed. The branch will offer a wide range of Post Office products and services over longer opening hours, so customers can access their Post Office when it’s convenient. Customer satisfaction with local style branches stands at 96 per cent, and nearly 20 per cent of local branch customers visit outside traditional opening hours.
