We are proposing to move the above Post Office branch to a new location: 279 Northolt Road, South Harrow, HA2 8HX.

Why are we moving?

Our Postmasters operate Post Office branches alongside their private retail business, and it is important that they make the very best use of their resources to ensure future sustainability of both their business and the Post Office service. In this case, the Postmaster has identified an opportunity to move this branch into a brighter more modern premises to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community. Our Postmaster firmly believes that the move will help secure continued access to Post Office services locally, as well as supporting the viability of their business.

Your new Post Office branch

Working with the postmaster, we’d adapt the current store layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office. It will be in a dedicated area of the store with two screened serving positions. A wide range of Post Office products and services would be available. We’d also add a low-screened, modern Post Office till at the retail counter offering most Post Office products and services, so customers can access their Post Office when it’s convenient. Customer satisfaction with these style of branches stands at 95 per cent.
