Overview

We are proposing to operate the above Post Office service at a new location – Snainton Village Hall, Barkers Lane, Snainton, Scarborough, YO13 9BG.

Why are we moving?

Following the resignation of the postmaster and the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use the above branch closed temporarily on Saturday 23 February 2019. We have therefore had to identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community.

Your new Post Office branch

We are pleased to let you know, that the Postmaster from Newlands Park Post Office will continue to offer services to Snainton with the introduction of a permanent Hosted Outreach service, which is scheduled to commence on Friday 3 May 2019 at 09:30. If there are any unforeseen changes to the opening date, posters will be displayed in the Village Hall to let customers know.   

Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local communities in the longer term. The establishment of Hosted Outreach Post Office service will enable us to maintain Post Office services to our customers in the local community.
