Overview

We are re-opening the above Post Office service at a new location - Barton News, 2 Cliff Terrace, Marine Drive, Barton-on Sea, New Milton, BH25 7EA. As you may be aware the branch closed temporarily in July 2016 due to resignation of the postmaster. We are pleased to tell you that, when the branch re-opens, it will change to one of our new local style branches.

This change is part of a major programme of modernisation taking place across the Post Office network, the largest in the history of Post Office Ltd.  The Programme is underpinned by Government investment and will see up to 8,000 branches modernised and additional investment in over 3,000 community and outreach branches.
