Overview

We are proposing to move the above Post Office branch to a new location: McColls Retail Group, 1 Chester Street, Saltney, Chester, CH4 8BL, where it will operate as one of our new local style branches.

 Why are we moving?

As you may be aware, this branch has been operated on our behalf by a temporary Postmaster. We have therefore had to identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community. A new agent has been identified to operate the above Post Office. The Post Office premises is scheduled to close on Thursday 06 February 2020.

Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local community. The relocation of Saltney Post Office will enable us to maintain a Post Office service to our customers in the local community. The new branch is scheduled to open at the new premises on Friday 07 February 2020.
