Following local public consultation, the letter below confirms our final plans for the branch.
We are moving the above Post Office branch to a new location – The Wedge, 1066 Barrhead Road, Glasgow, G53 5AB, where it will operate as one of our new local style branches.
Why are we moving?
The Post Office premises will no longer be available for Post Office use, we have therefore had to identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community.
Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local community in the longer. The relocation of Pollok Post Office will enable us to maintain a Post Office service to our customers in the local community.
We’re carrying out a local public consultation and we’d like your views on the proposal. We welcome feedback and comments that can help inform our plans.
