Overview

We are proposing to re-open the above Post Office branch at a new location - 34 Jones Street, Phillipstown, New Tredegar, NP24 6BB, where it would operate as one of our local style branches, subject to consultation.

Why are we proposing this re-opening?

Due to unforeseen circumstances the above branch closed in February 2024. We have therefore had to identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community. We are pleased to inform you that a new agent has been appointed who has identified an alternative location to operate the Post Office service.

Our priority is to safeguard our services in the locality in the longer term and the re-open of Phillipstown Post Office would enable us to maintain a Post Office service to our customers within the local community.
