Folowing the local public consultation the letter below confirm our final plans for the branch.

Overview

We are proposing to move the above Post Office branch to a new location – 15 Chapel Street, Petersfield, GU32 3DT and subject to consultation it will continue to operate as one of our main style branches. The proposed new premises which is currently empty, will undergo a refurbishment to incorporate a convenience store and Petersfield Post Office

Why are we moving?

The lease at the current premises is due to expire on 20 November 2022 and we have identified an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community. The vacancy was advertised, and we are pleased to advise that a new Postmaster has been appointed to run Petersfield Post Office.
