We are delighted to let you know that following the closure of Oldham Post Office we will be re-opening the branch on Thursday 09 October 2025. 

The current temporary service operating from Unit 10, Town Square Shopping Centre, Oldham, OL1 1XD will close on Friday 26 September 2025 at 17.30, and these premises will be fully refurbished to become one of our Main branches that will re-open on Thursday 09 October 2025 at 13.00.           

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services at two screened positions, together with one low-screened, open-plan, modern serving point that’s part of the retail counter. 

Why your views matter

Whilst the decision has already been made to reopen this branch, we would still like your views on access at the new location. We welcome feedback that can help inform our plans and the questionnaire below asks for comments on the following areas:
