Overview

We are moving the above Post Office branch to a new location: Spar, 1 Littlemoor Centre, Chesterfield, S41 8QW, where it will operate as one of our local style branches.

Why are we moving?

The current operator has resigned, we have therefore had to identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community. We are pleased to confirm that a new operator has been appointed.

The current branch is scheduled to close on Wednesday 28 October 2020 at 18:30 and the new branch is scheduled to open on Thursday 29 October 2020 at 13:00. Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local community in the longer term and the relocation of Newbold Post Office will enable us to maintain a Post Office service to our customers in the local community.

During transfer of the branch customers requiring Post Office facilities may use any convenient Post Office service. Details of two alternative Post Office branches are provided below for your convenience:

• Whittington Moor Post Office, 359B Sheffield Road, Whittington Moor, S41 8LQ
• Newbold Road Post Office, 63 Newbold Road, Chesterfield, S41 7PY
