Following the resignation of the Postmaster and the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use the above branch will be closing temporarily on Saturday 8 December 2018 at 12:30. 

We are pleased to be able to reinstate the service as a Mobile Outreach service while we continue to seek a permanent solution.

The Mobile Outreach service will be provided by our core Postmaster from Sherburn Post Office branch and will operate from the Corner of Station Estate South, Outside No’ 20, Murton, Seaham, SR7 9SW. We can confirm the Mobile Outreach service will commence on Wednesday 12 December 2018.

Please note the adjacent dates relate to the notification period for this branch. Please refer to the information letter below for further details including the date the Mobile service will open.
