Overview

We are moving the above Post Office branch to a new location: Jimmy’s Newsagents, 120–122 Broughton Lane, Salford, M7 1US

 Why are we moving?

The current premises have been withdrawn by the Council. The Postmaster has identified an opportunity to incorporate Post Office services into their other local premises nearby, with a convenience store also on site. Our Postmaster firmly believes that the move will help secure continued access to Post Office services locally, as well as supporting the viability of their business.

The current Post Office is scheduled to close on Tuesday 16 June 2020 at 17:30 and the Post Office is open at the new premises on Thursday 23 July 2020 at 07:00. 

During the transfer of the branch customers requiring Post Office facilities may use any convenient Post Office services.  Details of an alternative Post Office branch are provided below for your convenience:

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services in a modern, open-plan environment alongside the operator’s retail counter.  Working with the postmaster, we’d adapt the current store layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office till.  The branch will operate the same opening hours and will offer the same range of Post Office products and services.
