Overview

We are delighted to let you know that following the temporary closure of Llandovery Post Office we will be re-opening the branch at a new location – Ystrad at The Bank, 10 Market Square, Llandovery, SA20 0AA.

The new premises which is currently empty, has been refurbished to incorporate a Post Office and a Gifts & Homeware shop and operate as one of our new local style Post Office branches.

The Hosted Outreach Mobile service which is temporary operating from Castle Car Park, Castle Street, Llandovery, SA20 0AN will close on Tuesday 27 November 2018 at 14:00 and the Post Office will open at the new address on on Wednesday 28 November 2018 at 13:00.

We have provided posters for display in the local area to let customers know the good news. Please do also share this information with any local groups or organisations that you know within the community, for example on noticeboards, local charities and in GP surgeries, to help our customers and your constituents understand what is happening to the Post Office in Llandovery.

We are keen to restore services to this community as soon as possible so we are now progressing with these plans. However, we would welcome suggestions about specific aspects of the change such as access arrangements and the internal layout.
