Overview

We are moving the above Post Office Outreach service to a new location - The Langholm Paper Shop, 48 High Street, Langholm, Dumfries and Galloway, DG13 0JH, where it will operate as one of our local style branches. 

An opportunity has arisen to move this Post Office outreach service into The Langholm Paper shop nearby. A new postmaster has been appointed and will continue to operate the Post Office service from the new location.

To restore Post Office services as quickly as possible to the local community, we plan to open the Post Office service at the new premises on Tuesday 13 May 2025 at 13:00. The current Outreach Post Office service will close on Friday 9 May 2025 at 14:00. If there are any unforeseen schedule changes which mean these dates change, posters will be displayed in the Langholm Town Hall and the new premises to let customers know.

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services at a low-screened, open-plan, modern serving point that’s part of the retail counter. Working with the postmaster, we’d adapt the current store layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office till if needed.
