We are delighted to let you know that following the closure of Kilchoan Post Office we will be re-opening the branch on Tuesday 4 August 2026.  This will be in a new location - Kilchoan Community Centre, Pier Road, Kilchoan, Acharacle, PH36 4LJ. 

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services at a low-screened, open-plan, modern serving point within the premises. Working with the postmaster,  we’d adapt the layout of the premises to accommodate the Post Office serving point if needed. 

Why your views matter

Whilst the decision has already been made to reopen this branch, we would still like your views on access at the new location. We welcome feedback that can help inform our plans and the questionnaire below asks for comments on the following areas:
