Overview

We are proposing to move the above Post Office branch to a new location - McColl’s Retail Group, 28-30 Aquithie Road, Kemnay, Inverurie, AB51 5SS.

Why are we moving?

The branch closed temporarily in October 2018 following the resignation of the postmaster and the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use. We are pleased to inform you that a new agent has been appointed and the Post Office will be incorporated in to a convenience store.

We have provided posters for display in the local area to let customers know the good news. Please do also share this information with any local groups or organisations that you know within the community, for example on noticeboards, local charities and in GP surgeries, to help our customers and your constituents understand what is happening to the Post Office in Kemnay.

We are keen to restore services to this community as soon as possible so we are now progressing with these plans. However, we would welcome suggestions about specific aspects of the change such as access arrangements and the internal layout.
