Overview

We are proposing to change the opening hours of the above Post Office mobile service.

A recent review of Holme mobile service has confirmed that fewer customers are now using this service than previously which means that the service is not sustainable for our Postmaster or Post Office Limited.  We are sure you will appreciate this is the case in many locations as more customers access our services at other places and make more use of the internet. 

Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local community.  The reduction of opening hours at this service presents the best possible solution to allow us to achieve this in the longer term having looked at a range of information specific to the local area before putting our plans into consultation.
