Overview

We are proposing to move the above Post Office branch to a new location - Family Shopper, 96-98 Teehay Lane, Higher Bebington, Wirral, CH63 8QT. 

Why are we moving?

As you will be aware, the above branch has been operated on our behalf by a temporary agent, following the resignation of the previous Postmaster. As the premises will no longer be available for Post Office use, the temporary agent intends to relocate this Post Office into their convenience store nearby on Friday 1 February 2019.

 Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services in a modern, open-plan environment alongside the operator’s retail. Working with the postmaster, we’d adapt the current store layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office. It will be in a dedicated area of the store with 2 screened positions and we'd also add a low-screened, modern Post Office till at the retail counter offering more Post Office products and services over longer opening hours, so customers can access their Post Office when it’s convenient. Customer satisfaction with these style of branches stands at 96 per cent.
