Overview

You may be aware, the above branch closed temporarily in January 2022. In the interim, to serve the local community with continued access to Post Office services we set up a temporary Post Office service in February 2022, which has been operating from Hethersett Library, 40 Queens Road, Hethersett, NR9 3DB. 

We are pleased to inform you that the temporary service will now be made a permanent branch which will benefit from longer opening hours and will operate as one of our local style branches. The new permanent branch will continue to operate from Hethersett Library.

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services at a low-screened, open-plan, modern serving point. Working with the postmaster, we’d adapt the current layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office till if needed.

Why your views matter

Whilst the decision has already been made to reopen this branch, we would still like your views on access at the new location. We welcome feedback that can help inform our plans and the questionnaire below asks for comments on the following areas:
