Following local public consultation, the letter below confirms our final plans for the branch.

Overview

We are proposing to move this branch to Fine Foods, 49 Fellgate Avenue, Hedworth, Jarrow, NE32 4LZ.

Our existing Postmaster has resigned and the current premises have been withdrawn for Post Office use.  We are pleased to inform you that a new agent has been appointed and the Post Office will now operate from Fine Foods, 49 Fellgate Avenue.
