We are proposing to move the above Post Office branch to a new location – Wagon Convenience Store, 101 Wagon Road, Greasbrough, Rotherham, S61 4QE.

Why are we moving?

As you may be aware, the above branch is currently operated on our behalf by a temporary agent. I am pleased to confirm that a new permanent agent has been appointed and intends to relocate this Post Office to their convenience store.

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services at a low-screened, open-plan, modern serving point that’s part of the retail counter. Working with the postmaster, we’d adapt the current store layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office till if needed. The branch will offer a wide range of Post Office products and services over longer opening hours, so customers can access their Post Office when it’s convenient. Customer satisfaction with local style branches stands at 96 per cent, and nearly 20 per cent of local branch customers visit outside traditional opening hours.

Public consultation was ongoing until 18 March 2020 and we’re currently considering all feedback received before making a final decision on the future of the service.
