We are delighted to let you know that, following the temporary closure of George Street Post Office at the above address, we have re-opened the branch on Thursday 11 November 2021 at the new location – Londis, 569 George Street, Aberdeen, AB25 3XX.

Your new Post Office branch

Customers are accessing Post Office services at a low-screened, open-plan, modern serving point that’s part of the retail counter. Working with the postmaster, we adapted the  store layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office till.

The branch is offering a  range of Post Office products and services over longer opening hours, so customers can access their Post Office when it’s convenient. 

We have provided posters for display in the new Post Office to let customers know the good news. 

We were keen to restore services to this community as soon as possible so we have already reopened the branch. However, we would welcome suggestions about specific aspects of the change that might benefit customers, particularly on the following areas: access arrangements and the internal layout.
