Following the local public consultation, the letter below confirms our final plans for the branch.

Overview

We are proposing, with the postmaster’s agreement, to move the above Post Office branch to a new location – Tourist Information Centre, John Street, Filey, YO14 9DW. 

Unfortunately the postmaster’s lease on the current premises is due to expire soon. Subsequently, in order to secure a more sustainable service to our customers in Filey, our partner has identified an opportunity to lease a property nearby and plans to move the Post Office branch into these premises.
