Overview

We will be making a change to Post Office service provision in the area. The Doddington Mobile service ceased operating in April 2020 as there was no access to the premises following the onset of the Coronavirus pandemic. This service has been unavailable for 2 years and will now remain permanently closed.

The local customers may use any convenient Post Office. Two local alternative Post Office services:

• Clee Hill Mobile Service, Village Hall Car Park, Ludlow Road, Clee Hill, Ludlow, SY8 3NZ
• Cleobury Mortimer Post Office, 1 Church Street, Cleobury Mortimer, Kidderminster,  DY14 8BS

We want to make sure customers can access our quality services and products across the Post Office network. We are committed to maintaining our access criteria so that 99% of the UK’s population are within 3 miles of a Post Office and 90% are within 1 mile. However, due to the effects of coronavirus on retail businesses, this remains a challenging environment in which to operate.

We will continue to monitor and review the demand for Post Office services in the local community of Doddington, however, any future service needs to be sustainable for the person operating the service, and for Post Office Limited.
