Overview

We are proposing to move the above Post Office branch to a new location - Co-operative Group Food Ltd, (at the car park opposite The Wheatsheaf Pub), 4 Nottingham Road, Cropwell Bishop, Nottingham, NG12 3BQ.

Why are we moving?

The new premises, which is currently empty, will undergo a refurbishment to incorporate a convenience store and Cropwell Bishop Post Office. We are pleased to let you know that, the current Postmaster will continue to operate this service from these new premises and it will continue to provide the same wide range of products and services.

As you will be aware, our partners and agents operate the Post Office branches alongside their private retail business, and it is important that they make the very best use of their resources to ensure future sustainability of both their business and the Post Office service.  In this case, our partner has identified an opportunity to move this branch into a spacious, brighter and more modern premises.

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services at a low-screened, open-plan, modern serving point that’s part of the retail counter. Working with the postmaster, we’d adapt the current store layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office till if needed. The branch will offer a wide range of Post Office products and services and the opening hours would remain the same. Customer satisfaction with local style branches stands at 96 per cent, and nearly 20 per cent of local branch customers visit outside traditional opening hours.
