Overview

Post Office has undertaken a comprehensive review of the branch network to ensure that it continues to meet evolving customer needs and we are making some changes to the Talysarn Outreach Post Office service provided by the postmaster from Criccieth Post Office.

Your new Post Office service

The current Outreach service operating from the Talysarn Community Centre, Station Road, Talysarn, Caernarfon, LL54 6HL, will cease from Thursday 17 August 2023 at 16:00, and we are introducing a Mobile service. This Mobile service will operate from the same location at the Talysarn Community Centre Car Park, Station Road, Talysarn, Caernarfon, LL54 6HL, with new opening hours, starting from Tuesday 22 August 2023 at 10:45.

The Mobile Service is a travelling Post Office aboard a specifically designed vehicle that brings Post Office services and retail products to communities without relying on fixed premises that has formed part of our operational network for some years now. 

We have also made some minor changes to the hours and location for Outreach services in the same local area and the information letter below provides further details about this.
