Overview

We are proposing to reopen the above Post Office branch at a new location: Premier, 125 College Road, Cranwell Village, NG34 8DN, where it would continue to operate as one of our local style branches, subject to consultation.

Why are we proposing this reopening?

As you may be aware, the previous postmaster resigned, therefore the branch closed on Tuesday 27 February 2024. We have therefore had to identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community. We are pleased to inform you that a new agent has been appointed who has identified an alternative location to operate the Post Office service.

Our priority is to safeguard our services in the locality in the longer term and the proposed reopening of Cranwell Village Post Office would enable us to reinstate a Post Office service to our customers in the local community.
