We are delighted to let you know that following the temporary closure of Chipping Sodbury Post Office in November 2019, we will be re-opening the branch in a new location - Spar, 50 High Street, Chipping Sodbury, Bristol, BS37 6AH.

Your new Post Office branch

A temporary Mobile service was put in place following the closure of Chipping Sodbury Post Office and has been operating from outside the Council Offices, The Clock Tower Chipping Sodbury, Bristol, BS37 6AH. This service is scheduled to permanently close on Wednesday 07 September 2022 at 11:30 and your new-look Post Office is scheduled to open on Friday 09 September 2022 at 13:00. If there are any unforeseen circumstances which mean these dates change, posters will be displayed to let customers know. 

The branch will offer a wide range of Post Office products and services over longer opening hours, so customers can access their Post Office when it’s convenient. Customer satisfaction with local style branches is high, and many local branch customers visit outside traditional opening hours.

We have provided posters for display in the Spar to let customers know the good news. 

We are keen to restore services to this community as soon as possible so we are now progressing with these plans. However, we would welcome suggestions about specific aspects of the change that might benefit customers, particularly on access into the premises and its internal layout.
