Overview

We are moving the above Post Office service to a new location - Boutique Stays at Cartmel Square, The Square, Cartmel, Grange Over Sands, LA11 6QB.

Why are we moving?

The premises will no longer be available for Post Office use and the current service at Cartmel Ground Art Gallery will cease from Thursday 30 June 2022 at 13:00.

We have therefore had to identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community.

We are pleased to let you know that the current postmaster from Grange Over Sands Post Office will continue to operate this service from the new premises at Boutique Stays at Cartmel Square and this service will commence from Tuesday 5 July 2022 at 09:30.

Our priority is to safeguard our services in the locality in the longer term. Our postmaster firmly believes that the move will help secure continued access to Post Office services locally.

Your new Post Office service

Customers would access Post Office servicesfrom within the Boutique Stays at Cartmel Square. The Post Office service will be located in a dedicated area within the new premises and continue to offer the same range of products and services with the same opening times.

Why your views matter

Whilst the decision has already been made to move this service, on Tuesday 5 July 2022, we would still like your views on access and the service offer at the new location. We welcome feedback and comments that can help inform our plans.
