Overview

We are re-opening the above Post Office service in a new location – Cartmel Ground Art Gallery, Cavendish Street, Cartmel, LA11 6QA.

Why are we moving?

As you may be aware the above service ceased at the previous location on 24 March 2020 and in order to restore the service to the local community we are planning to re-open the service in the centre of the village. The service will continue to be operated by the postmaster from Grange-over-Sands Post Office and is scheduled to commence at the new location on 7 July 2020.

Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local community in the longer term and the re-opening of Cartmel Post Office services at Cartmel Ground Art Gallery will enable us to maintain a Post Office service to our customers in the local community.
