Overview

We have relocated Brailes Hosted Outreach Post Office service at a new location. – The George Inn, 1 High Street, Lower Brailes, Banbury, OX15 5HN. 

Why are we moving?

The Village Stores premises were no longer available for Post Office use, and this Hosted Outreach Post Office service ceased on Tuesday 17 September 2019. We have therefore had to identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community.

Your new Post Office service

We are delighted to let you know that the postmaster from Ettington Post Office is providing the 

Hosted Outreach Post Office service from within the The George Inn. This service commenced on Thursday 19 September 2019 and is operating on Tuesdays and Thursdays between 09:00 and 13:00.

Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the community in the longer term. The relocation of Brailes Hosted Outreach Post Office will help secure continued access to Post Office services locally. We will continue to review and monitor service on an on-going basis and should customer usage increase significantly, consideration would be given to adjusting service times accordingly.
