Overview

We are delighted to let you know that following the closure of Bournemouth Post Office we will be re-opening the branch on Wednesday 20 May 2026.  This will be in a new location - 24 Post Office Road, Bournemouth, BH1 1BA. 

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services at two low-screened, open-plan, modern serving points. Working with the postmaster, we’d adapt the new store layout, fixtures and fittings to accommodate the Post Office tills. 

Why your views matter

Whilst the decision has already been made to reopen this branch, we would still like your views on access at the new location. We welcome feedback that can help inform our plans and the questionnaire below asks for comments on the following areas:

  • Access into the new premises (Question 4)
  • Access inside the new premises (Question 5)
  • Any further feedback on our plans (Question 6)
