Overview

Further to our recent communication in which we advised you that we will be restoring Post Office services to Kentisburyford on Friday 18 March 2022 at a new location:  Waytown Tearooms, Waytown Farm, Kentisbury, Barnstaple, EX31 4NS as a permanent hosted outreach service., whihc will be operated by the postmaster from Bickington Post Office..

Unfortunately, due to unforseen circumstances  the outreach commencemnet date has been delayed.  We will update you once a new commencement date has been confirmed.

To accommodate the new service, there will be some changes to the operating times of the Hosted Outreach service, provided by Bickington Post Office, at West Down and Bratton Fleming from Friday 18 March 2022. Full details of these services are provided at the end of this letter.

We constantly monitor the number of customers using Post Office services and we are confident that our proposed changes will be welcomed by our customers in the local communities. 

We have provided posters for display in the local area to let customers know the good news. If you are a local representative please share this information with any local groups or organisations that you know within the community, for example on noticeboards, local charities and in GP surgeries, to help our customers and your constituents understand what is happening to the Post Office in Kentisburyford.

We are keen to restore services to this community Kentisburyford as soon as possible so we are now progressing with these plans. However, we would welcome suggestions about specific aspects of the change such as access arrangements and the internal layout.
