We are proposing to move the above Post Office branch to a new location  Co-op Food Store, 10 Low Road, Auchtermuchty, Cupar, KY14 7AU.

Why are we moving?

As you may be aware, our Partners operate Post Office branches alongside their private retail business, and it is important that they make the very best use of their resources to ensure future sustainability of both their business and the Post Office service. In this case, our Partners have identified an opportunity to move this branch into an alternative new premises to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community. The Post Office will be incorporated into a newly built modern convenience store.

Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services to the local community in the longer term and our Partner firmly believes that the move will help secure continued access to Post Office services locally, as well as supporting the viability of their business.

Your new Post Office branch

Customers would access Post Office services in a modern, open-plan environment alongside the operator’s retail.  It will be in a dedicated area of the store. A wide range of Post Office products and services would be available, over longer opening hours, so customers can access their Post Office when it’s convenient. Customer satisfaction with local style branches is high, and many local branch customers visit outside traditional opening hours.
