Overview

We are proposing to reopen the above Post Office branch at a new location: Londis, 27 The Nook, Anstey, Leicester, LE7 7AZ, where it would continue to operate as one of our local style branches.

Why are we proposing this reopening?

Following the withdrawal of the premises for Post Office use, the previous branch closed on Monday 07 March 2022. We have therefore had to identify an alternative location to continue to offer Post Office services to the local community. We are pleased to inform you that a new agent has been appointed who has identified an alternative location to operate the Post Office service, subject to consultation.

Our priority is to safeguard Post Office services in the locality in the longer term and the proposed reopening of Anstey Post Office will enable us to restore a Post Office service to our customers in the local community.
