Overview

In December 2020, Post Office and Royal Mail signed a new Mails Distribution Agreement (MDA) which covers how the two businesses work with each other over the next 11 years.

Since then we’ve continued to work carefully on the changes we propose to make to our remuneration arrangements with you. Our priority has been to establish a stronger commercial alignment between Postmasters, Post Office and Royal Mail, with remuneration rebalanced to reflect the areas where your expertise and customer service makes the greatest difference to drive revenue growth.

Now that we have shared the proposed rates and an estimate of remuneration for your branch or branches, we’re beginning a period of consultation that will run until 06 June.  Wed like you to hear your views and suggestions regarding the proposition and implementation plan.
